Water Park & In the Dark

I don't remember enough of my dream last night to really summarize, so here's a long dream I had a few years ago, May 6th.

1st part: I'm at a water park with a few characters I write about. We're up by a water slide, getting ready to go down. We get on rafts and go down. The slide is very wide, wide enough for all of us to slide down side by side. Two of the characters, these 2 half-cats named 'Nip' and 'Pounce' (only now they're renamed 'Nilee' and 'Ponyo') are on the same raft and start singing opera.
2nd part: I'm at the high school parking lot and this random guy from my school drives up (when I had this dream I was in middle school, so it was odd to see him driving) and asks me if I want to go to the dance with him. My old 5th grade classmates suddenly appear, and we're walking down this hallway, which connects to the
3rd part: An old friend and I are in a dark forest with glass flowers and singing trees. I'm chasing her, but she keeps getting away.

Meaning- This is just a guess on my part, but the whole sliding and water thing going on in the first dream may indicate that my life is flowing in a certain direction, like the water was. The characters sliding down with me may be the things helping me go through life. And the singing may be something to help me enjoy life.
For many people cars are status symbols; dreaming of owning a car may be a wish-fulfilling dream. I have no interests in driving, however, so it may be people telling me maybe I should think about getting one. Since it was in middle school when I had this dream, though, it might have been foretelling the future, saying that everyone will have cars and I will not. It's pretty amazing, because that is what's happening.
And the forest dream: colorful flowers and leafy trees are omens that I am/was coping well in life or have a positive outlook. Me chasing my friend and her getting away was the most interesting part though. We've been friends until around middle school/high school until we kind of drifted apart. The dream might have been a metaphoric way or summarizing that: Me trying to get to her, and her running away from our friendship.
