Scared of Bears?

I finally had a dream that I remember!
Last night I dreamed I was in a hotel with my parents. But there is a bear chasing me and my mom (who is turning into Julia frequently), so we run into a hotel room and lock the door. My mom says we should face our fears. I look under the crack under the door and see a dark shadow, so I scream. But my mom opens the door and it's only a guy in a suit talking to someone across the hall. Then we go to my dad's room, which is at the end of the hall, and is also the biggest room. The bear is in there, and he's running to me. There is also another bear in there, a smaller one, who my dad says is named Creme. They keep chasing me until they settle down, exhausted. My dad and I sit on the couch and I say, all song-songy, "We get to go to the beach tomorrow!" (referring to Ormond Beach, which is where we are going in July) and my dad laughs. And I say, "Less than 12 hours! Right?" and my dad says, "I think so." Then it's morning and we're about to board the plane and I'm in this impossibly cute tank-and-skirt combo. There is a crowd in front of where we board, and a stage or something. This guy wants me to come up to the stage and take a picture with my parents. I see Julia in the crowd as I stand up there in a position, and she's smiling.

Meaning- A hotel may symbolize a rest stop on the journey through life; a temporary shelter. They also represent relaxation or a vacation. Being chased by something shows what I am afraid of. My mom was encouraging me to face my fear, but I somehow could not. Couches may represent comfort and ease. Fathers in dreams represent guidance, justice and protection. Mothers stand for protection and nurturing. A dream bear may symbolize an inner need that is being neglected and may grow fierce if not given attention.
