1st- I'm standing at the lunch line at my school getting a bunch of carbs (pasta, breadsticks, etc.) from different lines (my school has different lines for different meals). I try to make an alfredo pasta by combining pasta from one line and chicken from another, but some lunch lady yells at me, saying I'm not supposed to do that!
2nd- I'm in some bedroom derping around on my computer and reading and such and I keep going to the kitchen to get food. My mom isn't home. The house that I'm in has some of the same things my mom's does-the entrance, kitchen, etc., but my room is different (and apparently on a higher level). Then it's somehow in school because this group of random people I've seen before are walking by and some go in the room I'm in. I'm also thinking "GTFO..." :O
Meaning- Being hungry in a dream may be interpreted by a desire ("hunger") for something in life, such as power, knowledge, or possibly love. Bread represents cash, so it may mean that I want money (actually, I really do). Beds may symbolize warmth, comfort or security.
I believe that all dreams have meaning. Things you see in your dreams are representations of things or concepts in the waking world. It's a very cool concept, and in many ways magical. If you want me to read you dream leave a comment or message.

Schools & Disputes
So I'm going to start to record anything I remember from dreams every day; I want to start lucid dreaming. Those are significantly different kinds of dreams-- it gives us an ability to see through the dream and recognize that we're actually dreaming. Being aware that we're actually dreaming can do amazing things in dreams.
Anyway, an exercise for lucid dreaming is to record anything you remember from your regular dream.
Last night~
1st: I'm looking at colleges with that mean girl Paris from 'The Gilmore Girls' (and, like Rory we do hate each other). When we each find a college we like, we enroll on the waiting list and go to a high platform of some sort. Eventually we discover that we want to go to the college each other has and we get in a spat and fall into individual narrow compartments where I guess we both surrender and Mr. Moesby comes and tries to get us to stop fighting (now how's THAT for an odd dream!).
2nd: My dad, me, a bunch of our family, and some random cat (I may have seen it around my dad's neighborhood) are in little closed-off cubicles, short enough that we can lean over them. We are talking randomly about random stuff and I'm not really listening. Then we're all behind a screen in this one little room talking to these guys who look like police, but we're not in trouble or anything like that. The cat is doing gymnastics on a ledge and we're all telling it to stop; I don't know why, a cat as a gymnast is pretty cool...
Meaning- Colleges and universities in a dream may be encouraging me to seek further info about a certain thing. They could also be prompting me to talk things through with wiser or more informed people. I don't know if my family and I (oh, and the cat) were imprisoned in that screened room, but if so it may have tried to reflect a decrease in my personal freedom.

Falls & Walls
Last Night~
There's not a lot I remember about my dream last night. But there is a sufficient detail that came to mind first when I woke up this morning. In the dream I wanted to slide down a very steep hill (more like a wall or cliff) because either I was a daredevil or just wanted to see if I could actually do it. It was one of those dreams when you're watching yourself do something (called "out-of-body experiences or astral projection). I saw myself falling/sliding down the very long wall until I disappeared into what looked like a cloud of dust or sand. After a while (or whatever is considered 'a while' in a dream) I was laying on a sidewalk next to some small building. I was done with the fall and had been unconscious in a hospital. But apparently then I was 'fixed' and was barely harmed.
Meaning- A dream where you see yourself falling may be warning you of a possible accident.

Stars Afar
Years Ago~
Me and a grade school friend are on a cliff at night looking down. It's very dark. There are many people our age down at the bottom, but they are either stars or inside stars. They are blinking like regular stars you see in the sky and are on a vast area of pitch darkness, even darker than the night that it is. And then we are running--maybe even flying--down the cliff to join them where we dance together.
Meaning- The star children were somewhat illuminated, which represents wisdom or spiritual enlightenment. We were moving toward them, which may be symbolic of inner spiritual growth.

Fun & The Run
Last night~
1st part- My best friend Julia and I seem to be controlling a Sims game, but the people are real humans and they are right in front of us rather than a computer screen. We somehow know that the 'game' will turn into a Cinderella theme if we get a certain amount of money (I think it was $500; strange because in a Sims game that is not a lot!). To get the money we must either score a point on the first try in some sort of basketball game; one of those games at most amusement parks where you try to get the ball in the hoop. However, we ourselves must do it--not the 'people' we are controlling. So Julia tries, but does not make it through. :(
2nd part- I am a giant (literally) trying to run a certain distance on the earth without damaging anything. I'm doing this with another giant, but we're taking turns. A timekeeper (not sure of HIS size) is timing us to see how short a time we do this. So this goes on for a while, neither of us harming anything, and soon we turn into normal sizes and start doing the same thing as a normal size. But it is very crowded and we don't seem to be getting anywhere, so we start ballroom dancing and having fun and the timekeeper is very annoyed and it's very funny..then I woke up! :D
Meaning- Julia not landing the ball in the hoop is an example of failure. This exposes some type of incompetence (times when you feel your life is out of control). Our unconscious tells us that we should reassess our attitudes and take practical measures to build up confidence. However, since it wasn't me who failed to have the ball go through, it may be saying that my friend is experiencing trouble.
I was running in the second dream, which may bring a sense of freedom and release.

Skates & The Embrace
1st part:
I'm skating in a very large arena with several other people in front of a equally big crowd. This is not a show or competition or anything really worth seeing; we're basically showing people what we can do. However, the throng seems to be cheering us on, as if we really were in a world competition. We're showing our moves when one skater (Brenda Song?) falls right on her behind. I am skating sensibly fast and almost run into her, but I jump over her right leg and land on my knees. As I raise my arms in a 'Ta-Da!', the crowd goes WILD and the skater is still sitting there, very confuzzled!
2nd part:
A bunch of other people and I are going to some kind of meeting or business out of town, and have to take some sort of transportation (I'm pretty sure it was a plane). Before I get on, I somehow know that my cousin (not in real life) is there and I want to say good-bye. So I ask the flight attendants (or whoever they were) if they can delay boarding for a few minutes while I give my farewells. Then I run run run to wherever this 'cousin' is, and there's a GPS on my cell phone so I try to track down where he is. Then I start thinking 'Where should we hug? By the door or somewhere else?' (I don't know why I was thinking about something this ridiculous; well, after all it is a dream) but then I see him and we hug wherever it happened to be. Then I fell asleep (yep, right there while I was dreaming) and had a mini-dream or vision about standing in front of a chair reciting a nursery rhyme. Then I 'woke up' and I was boarding the plane.
Meaning:
The achievement of being applauded by the crowd is a sign of success to come. The embrace in the 2nd part of the dream is confirmation that one is loved and cherished. It is also a sign of reassurance.
