Chasing and Pacing

I'm at the side of a building or something for a while. Actually, before then I'm like right next to 2 people making out and somehow can't get away. Then I'm throwing something yellow for a dog--maybe it's my own dog, Rufus, but doesn't have the same characteristics. These 2 gay guys walk past us and step out of the way so I can throw the whatever-it-is. The dog gets it and I go over there and call the toy a 'karyotype' or something that starts with a 'k' relating to science. Later I'm at a zoo or somewhere where there's a display of rainbow trout, and I mean trout that are actually rainbow. I'm there with my dad, I think, and one other person, my cousin, Miriam, maybe. We're looking down in the water and this monstrous fish swims past our view (who is deep underwater, but we still see it). We're all very awe-struck that there can actually be a fish that big. Sometime later I fall in. I ask my dad if the giant trout can eat me, and he says no. But I have to make it to land anyway, because, well, I'm soaked.

Meaning- Watching other people kissing is different than kissing someone myself. It may mean I should find someone to be close to or just care about. Dreaming about a dog that is loyal and faithful may mean I'm confident about my friends and are loyal to them; it also could say that about myself. Fish are symbolic of emotions and ancient beliefs deep in the unconscious. They may also show that I'm comfortable in my environment ('swim like a fish').

(This may be what the dog looked like.)
