It first starts with me at Julia's house. There's a pool party with a bunch of girls I don't know. None of them seem to show any interest in me, or Julia, for that matter. They are just chittering on about goodness knows what. Later, they are being stalked by someone with a hood, and maybe it's supposed to be me. The person is videotaping them home and hiding in the dark. The girls realize they are being stalked and begin to get nervous.
Then I'm at a school, I guess, at the top of a flight of stairs at a table with a bunch of other people. We are selling something; tickets, maybe. I'm sitting backwards with a hoodie; maybe I don't want people to see me. But soon I face back around.
The last part of the dream was incredible. It starts with me and someone else in some kind of bed or container of some sort very high up. It's night and we're sleeping. Then I wake up and look at the time. I think I remember it said 2:47 (am). I tell the person, 'We have five hours until the party is over', talking about whatever we were selling tickets for. So I think we fall back asleep and we are woken by a girl, from the party, I think. She and us and some others climb into another mattress/platform somewhere else, also high up. As the night begins to fade a bit, we see that there are a bunch of other beds/mattresses/platforms around the area, and sleeping in them are Africans of all ages. Some of them wake up and they talk to us about wanting to be like us: clean drinking water, clothes like we have, etc. Soon they are starting to dance and sing. We all climb down from the mattress/platform and I see Julia. She apparently was on it when I was. We all jump down onto some kind of cushion. Julia says to me, 'You look so pretty,' and I say, 'I'm wearing a sack, though!' and she laughs. I am wearing this kind of weird-looking black dress. Then she turns into my cousin Miriam and we're looking at the different things around us; it has somehow turned into a party. We see an older woman getting tied to a pole to get swung around it by a rope (except I think that's a Mexican thing). Miriam looks at it a bit longer than I do, but I'm afraid of those kinds of things. Then we see a moonwalk. There are some kids in there, some Africans, some Americans. And every time they jump, they are saying things like 'dreams' and 'thoughts' and stuff like that. We go in and it's a bit more bouncy than you'd expect. The moonwalk gets bigger the more we bounce. Soon it's more of a bouncy slide. I'm rolling down it and at the end I yell, 'Feet!' and show my feet. Everyone cheers and laughs for some reason, and as I go up, Miriam, who has turned into someone more mature, says, 'You should be more specific.' When I reach the top, there is some kind of little house with a table in it. The table has four chairs, and 3 people are sitting in it already, including a dog. I sit at the remaining spot. Then when people come in and answer questions wrong, they are thrown down a hill that's outside the right of the house. I decide I don't like this at all, and I leave. Some of the others do too, but the dog stays. I see people trying to rescue starfish from the long drop (I guess we were throwing those as well), and I join in.
Then I'm with a bunch of people, and we're all in disguise, in some kind of armor or suit. We're trying to be let in by this one guy, but his roommate or someone says we can't. But then he leaves along with another soldier. We go in and eat some kind of meal...I remember salad and bread. Then we hear the guys coming back and we take off our helmets/hats and boots/shoes so we are not recognized. Then they are all upstairs I think, and I look at the photos the guy who let us in took of us when we were in the woods, when he found us. He started by just seeing a bear, and he sketched it, but then got distracted when he saw the rest of us.
And now I'm done.
Meaning- Being with a friend when there are people who don't really like you shows how faithful and loyal your friend can be. Stalking the girls shows you want to know more about people like that (there are PLENTY at school). Hiding yourself means you don't want people to see how you look, but turning back around means you don't care. Hearing about Africans desires and needs shows what is happening in the world already. Being at any kind of party means you need to 'live a little' and have fun. Kids shouting out 'dreams' and 'thoughts' may be the things inside your head. The moonwalk expanding shows that there is enough fun in the world for everyone. Throwing out the people and living things shows hatred, but I don't have a lot of that; that's why I left and started saving the starfish. It also shows my love for the ocean! The guy who let us in shows there are people in the world who don't care what you look like, and who are curious.
This dream was all about different kinds of people. Interesting. My dreams haven't really had a theme before.
