I'm in a big room of a building or someone's house and I'm sitting on a cushioned bench. I think I'm at a party, and it's someone I know well because all the guests are people I'm familiar with, even some of my relatives (who don't live here in Minnesota). A group of people come in, including my aunt's (on my dad's side) family and my old friend Sophie (also in Water Parks and In the Dark..check it out if you haven't), and Julia. Well, my cousin Miriam keeps switching from herself to Julia, so I guess she's the same person. The whole character, I guess, is supposed to be based on Julia because she and Sophie are talking and whispering like they're best friends. Then I see Sophie look at me, and she starts walking toward me. Not wanting to get into any kind of awkward conversation with her, I pretend I have to use the bathroom, and get up and head in that direction. I never know what she does next. Then, I'm on a dark street (I think it's pretty early in the morning) where a lot of vehicles are (cars, trucks, buses, etc.). There's a small school bus that is supposed to be mine. I mean it's really small; there are only a few rows of seats. I get on and take a seat next to a classmate from real life and her sister. That's all I remember.
Meaning- Dreaming of an old friend could be nostalgia of the times had and how much you miss them. Having them try to communicate with you could be symbolizing re-connection and reconciliation. Hiding from them tells you you're not ready to reconnect, being afraid of the awkwardness. Family symbolizes love, respect, and trust. Buses symbolize journeys and 'taking a new road' or 'going down another road.' With darkness mixed in, however, it may be telling you the road ahead of you may have some obstacles and risks.
